We Don’t Only Make Tile. We Make Tile Work For You.
Through our subsidiary Precision H2O, we can cut tile and stone to nearly any shape, sculpting murals, logos, medallions and typography.
The process uses a digitally controlled, thin, high-pressure stream of garnet-water slurry like a knife, cutting materials cleanly, with minimal kerf. And, unlike milling, lasers or other heat-driven cutting techniques, waterjet leaves edges smooth, without discoloration, and with multiple possibilities for beveling or rounding.
At other settings, the waterjet works as a sandblaster, shaping surfaces in bas relief, giving three-dimensional depth and grace to your designs.
The possibilities are nothing short of amazing.
Please let us bring your visions to life. You’ll be in good company; we’ve served exacting customers including Alfa Romeo, Boeing, Chevrolet, Disney, Dodge, ESPN, Harley Davidson, Harry & David, Honeywell, Kaiser Aluminum, Marriott Hotels, Red Robin Restaurants, Safeway, the United States Navy, Vons, Westin Hotels and many more.
Custom Colors and Shapes
If you can imagine a color or shape, we can probably create it.
Our custom glaze library holds thousands of color and texture formulations from previous projects, and we can easily create still more.
Custom sizes and shapes are available as well, including the nearly limitless possibilities of digitally controlled waterjet cutting through our subsidiary, Precision H2O, which can produce tile in almost any size or shape.
We can also pre-mount patterned sheets of tile using our 2"x2", 2"x4", 3"x3" and 4"x4" sizes, making installation easier than ever.
For reasons like these, Quarry Tile has been chosen for numerous demanding custom projects and historical restorations. Custom work is our specialty.
Custom patterns will give you an opportunity to create a unique design for your customer’s project.
A glazed field tile with a printed texture or pattern can complete a designer’s vision.
We will print actual samples for you to review before we process any order.
Cove base tiles are for those critical transitions in your designs, where wall meets floor or tub, or where you might add a decorative roll to the top of a backsplash or wainscoting. Called cove base for its arched bottom edge, where it meets the rounded edge of wall or floor tile, these tiles look like baseboards, bringing pizzazz to your work’s edges.
Quarry Tile offers dozens of cove base designs to go with our floor and wall tile lines. And we can customize still more.
We can help you create stunning mosaic designs, either digitally designing complex patterns for onsite assembly, or pre-mounting mosaic sheets for quick installation.
When the Los Angeles Library needed tile to restore it’s gorgeous central dome, its architects turned to Quarry Tile. As did the New York Subway, when restoring its beautiful old stations. Historical restoration usually demands extremely capable manufacturing, a high degree of customization, and exacting attention to color and texture—all of which are our particular strengths. We have helped restore some of America’s finest theaters, most notable buildings and most treasured institutions. We would love to help you achieve your restoration visions as well.
